My cat has thousands of fleas on him how do i get them off of him after his flea bath?

I have an indoor cat and he loves the outdoors and dirt and is a very free spirited cat.I just moved and I left him as an outdoor cat until my house was together. I'm going to bring him back indoors I gave him a bath with flea shampoo it killed all the fleas on him body now he has a bunch on his face and the dead one on his body are lik stuck in his fur... I need help before those fleas on his face get all around my house
