Do gerbils all molt at the same time?

I have two male brother gerbils one ruby eyed is gray with a spot on his head and another one between his shoulders and the other one is lighter ruby eyed with golden tan fur on top then fades into a creamy tan color....and their both beginning to molt is that normal
