Cat's skin has turned black?

I have a two year old white chinchilla Persian cat and the groomer shaved her fur (not fully - she is still covered in fur but it is very short) - Her skin underneath the white fur was visible as pink. Now after a week, her skin has turned nearly all black and I'm slightly worried. Can anyone explain why? Thanks
