How can a black scene boy change his hair help 10 points for best help?

Im black and scene and 13 and a boy. I want to make my hair to look more scene looking. My mom loves to cut it short and "fresh". Thats the only hairstyle i've had my WHOLE life. Will a Mohawk help My mom said i cant grow out my hair until im 18 and i cant dye it untill im 21. She wants me to look like a church boy(i go to church twice a week). And no i cant sneak out and get it changed. Help me please!! Help a black scene dude!
