Can cats get a poison ivy rash?

i saw my cat sleeping in some poison ivy today and im worried he might start scratching. i know the rash is caused by urushiol oil from the leaves irritating your skin, but i don't know if it will get through his fur or if when he licks his fur it might get on his tongue.
